MEXICO CITY, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Mexico"s peso firmedsharply on Wednesday, helped by speculation that FederalReserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will signal in testimony toCongress that U.S. interest rates will remain low for sometime.
The peso MXN= MEX01 firmed 0.5 percent to 12.8656 perU.S. dollar. Low U.S. interest rates boost the appeal ofemerging market assets. (Reporting by Michael O"Boyle; Editing by James Dalgleish)
